Dr. Davis has an ample amount of experience with treating children, making our office an ideal destination for the whole family. Family is important to us, in that our staff is a family–we’ve had the same office staff for more than 19 years, and the practice has been open since 1980. We appreciate tradition, generational relationships, and a personal touch. To become our patient is to become part of our family.

Michelle Davis • DMD
Michelle Davis, DMD is a unique kind of dentist. She takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. She listens so she can best understand your particular needs. She strives to provide the highest standard of personalized care using her skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology. As a graduate of Auburn University in Biomedical Sciences, she went on to extend her education, receiving her doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. She’s a member of: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Alabama Dental Association and Birmingham District Dental Society. Dr. Davis grew up in Mobile, Alabama and moved to Birmingham in 2006. She is married to her husband, Tim, and they have two children and two labrador retrievers. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, continuing education in all things dental, photography and travel.
Debbe Thompson
Debbe is a graduate of Leeds High School and has been working with Dr. Davis since she opened her practice. Debbe has 32 years of past experience in the dental field, including chairside assisting as well as insurance claims, processing and billing. She brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism along with true patient compassion to our office. For the past few years her primary task is working with patients to make sure they are able to maximize their insurance benefits and help make their dental treatment affordable. She is always available to help you with any of your financial concerns. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. Debbe’s favorite past time is, of course, attending games and rooting on her favorite college football team, the AUBURN TIGERS.
Cindy Vance
Cindy has been a part of my team as our Appointment Coordinator/ Patient Relations manager since the beginning of my practice. During her 42 years of experience in dentistry she has also worked as a dental assistant. With her extensive dental background, she has additional strength in understanding treatment plans and scheduling of all appointments. Cindy loves people and does a great job with accommodating our patients busy schedules for appointments. Cindy is the first smile you will see when entering our office. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Melisa McRae
Melisa is a Registered Dental Hygienist at the practice of Dr. Michelle Davis. She graduated with her hygiene degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1986. Melisa enjoys what she does and strives to provide quality and comfortable care to her patients. In her spare time Melisa enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending church at Church of the Highlands.
Heather Garner, RDH
Heather is a 2013 graduate of Wallace State's Dental Hygiene program, and has been practicing dental hygiene with Dr. Davis since 2018. Patients love Heather's compassionate nature, and thorough but gentle approach to their dental needs. Her primary goals when treating patients is to ensure comfort throughout their visit, and communicating their oral health status and needs in a way that they understand. Heather strives to make every patient's dental visit a pleasant one. Heather has been married to her husband for 5 years, and they have a 2 year old son, Asher. They reside in Leeds, and are active in their church at The Gathering Place. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and trying new places to eat in Birmingham. They also love traveling any chance they get. Heather is currently working on her Bachelor's degree to expand her knowledge into more areas of dentistry.
Marisela Rodriguez
Marisela is from Birmingham Alabama and graduated from West Blocton High School in 2013. She went on to study Dental Assisting at Lawson State Community College, and joined Dr. Davis’ team in 2017. Marisela finds satisfaction in ensuring a pleasant, smooth, and calm atmosphere while working alongside Dr. Davis, and strives to make every patient feel comfortable. She enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering in dental events and works toward further her dental knowledge any way she can. In her free time she loves to travel, learn, and spend time with her husband Matt and son Micah. Marisela loves dental assisting and enjoys being a part of a team who works hard to provide excellent patient care.
